InsuranceBorder.com — Insurance Beyond Borders

How it works

A digital front door, with a licensed person behind it.

You tell us what you need and answer only the questions that apply. We route your request to one agent licensed in your state for that line. Nothing is shared until you say so, and nothing is bound until you decide.

Step by step

From first search to a signed policy

Six steps, and you are in control at every one of them.

  1. Step 1

    Find the coverage you need

Browse by category or industry, or search the catalog. Every product page explains what the coverage does, who it is for, and what to expect before you start.

No account, no phone number, and nothing is shared at this stage.

  2. Step 2

Answer a short, adaptive quote request

Each product has its own flow. Questions appear only when they apply to you, so a boat owner and a bakery owner see different forms, and you are never asked to fill in fields that do not matter.

Most requests take three to six minutes.

  3. Step 3

    Review disclosures and give consent

Before anything is sent, you see exactly who may contact you, how, and what information they receive. Regulated lines like Medicare, life, and health include the additional notices the law requires.

Each consent is versioned and timestamped on your request.

  4. Step 4

We route to one licensed agent

Your request goes to a single agent who holds an active license in your state for that specific line and has told us they write it. There is no auction and no list sold to five agencies.

If the agent does not accept within one business day, it moves to the next licensed match.

  5. Step 5

    Your agent reaches out

The agent contacts you through the channel you chose, at the time of day you prefer. They already have your answers, so the first conversation is about options, not re-entering data.

Text messages are sent only if you opted in.

  6. Step 6

Compare, decide, and bind on your terms

Your agent gathers carrier quotes, explains the differences, and handles applications and paperwork when you are ready. Submitting a request never binds coverage or obligates you to buy.

Track every status change on your request page.

What we promise

The rules we hold ourselves and our agents to

Consumers give us detailed information because the standard is short, clear, and enforced.

We are not a carrier or a call center

InsuranceBorder.com does not sell policies or take a commission on your premium. We are the front door that gets you to a licensed professional with your homework already done.

Licensing is checked, not assumed

Agents are verified against state department of insurance records for each state and line they list. If a license lapses, routing to that agent pauses automatically.

Your information has one job

Agents may use your quote request only to quote the coverage you asked about. Reselling or sharing it is grounds for removal from the network.

You can see what is happening

Every request gets a reference number and a tracking page. When your agent accepts, contacts, or quotes, the status updates so you are never left guessing.

After you submit

What your tracking page shows

Every request gets a reference number. Keep it, and you can check progress any time without calling anyone.

Questions

Common questions before you start

Does it cost anything to request a quote?

No. Requesting a quote is free and does not obligate you to buy anything. Agents pay to participate in the network; you never pay us.

Will I get calls from multiple agents?

No. Your request is routed to one agent at a time. Only if that agent declines or does not respond within one business day does it move to the next licensed match.

What if my state or product is not available?

Some lines depend on state rules and local agent capacity. If we cannot route your request, we tell you immediately rather than collecting your information and sitting on it.

Is submitting a request the same as buying a policy?

No. Nothing is bound when you submit. Coverage begins only after you review quotes with your agent, complete the carrier application, and the carrier issues the policy.

How do I check on my request?

Use the reference number from your confirmation on the tracking page. It shows the current status and, once assigned, your agent’s name and agency.

Can I change my mind about being contacted?

Yes. Each consent you give can be withdrawn. Contact us or tell your agent directly, and communication stops.

Ready when you are.

Pick a product, answer a few questions, and a licensed agent in your state takes it from there.
